Kookmin University (President Lim Hong-jae) Industry-Academic Cooperation Foundation announced that it signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for industry-academic cooperation with In2wise Co., Ltd. (CEOs Yoon Seok-pil and Pyo Cheol-sik) on the 21st at Room 404 of the Kookmin University Industry-Academic Cooperation Building.
Through this agreement, both organizations are expected to establish a cooperative system to foster outstanding talent tailored to industry demands and to promote joint technology development.
In2wise, an AI platform and solution specialized company, was established as a research institute company based on technology transferred from ETRI. It was founded on the expertise of CEO Pyo Cheol-sik, who has over 30 years of R&D experience at ETRI, and CEO Yoon Seok-pil, who has experience in management and marketing. Recently, the company obtained the TTA GS1 grade certification.
CEO Pyo Cheol-sik of In2wise stated, “We anticipate that In2wise’s AI platform and solution technology combined with Kookmin University’s excellent talent pool will create an opportunity for mutual development.”
CEO Yoon Seok-pil of In2wise said, “As a startup company, In2wise has great growth potential. We will grow together through cooperation with Kookmin University, which has many talented individuals.”
Oh Ha-ryeong, Director of the Industry-Academic Cooperation Foundation at Kookmin University, also responded, “We are grateful to be able to provide more opportunities to our students. Through cooperation between the two organizations, we will nurture outstanding talent in the AI field and further continue collaboration that contributes to the nation through technology development.”
At the MOU signing ceremony, In2wise’s co-CEOs Yoon Seok-pil and Pyo Cheol-sik, Oh Ha-ryeong, Vice President for Industry-Academic Research and Director of the Industry-Academic Cooperation Foundation at Kookmin University, Seo Jun-gyeong, Head of the Industry-Academic Cooperation Team, and Lee Jin-gu, Head of Kookmin University Technology Holdings Co., Ltd., attended and discussed phased strategies for introducing AI education programs and mutual cooperation plans.
