[Asia Economy Reporter Eunmo Koo] CJ Freshway's food distribution specialty brand 'Itswell' announced on the 22nd that it has launched a convenient meal product called 'Geuttae Geusijeol Old-fashioned Whole Chicken.'
The new product will be introduced through the B2B customer-exclusive ingredient ordering system 'OnlyOneFoodNet' to various channels such as catering and dining businesses, and ingredient marts. It will also be sold online through CJ Freshway's official Naver Smart Store.
Old-fashioned Whole Chicken is made from domestically sourced chicken that has been brined and aged at low temperature. The process includes an oven heating step to achieve a crispy skin texture and juicy, moist meat. Each package contains two whole chickens. The vertically halved 'Ban-dak' is divided into a total of four pieces. It can be cooked in an air fryer for 20-25 minutes (at 200°C) or in a fryer for 8-10 minutes (at 170-175°C) to complete the preparation.
A CJ Freshway representative stated, "It can be used in various ways such as special meal menus for the World Cup season, hearty nutritious snacks, and side dishes."
