[Asia Economy Reporter Cha Min-young] LG HelloVision announced on the 17th that following last year’s opening in Gimhae, Gyeongnam, it has opened its second open studio in Wonju, Gangwon this time.
The 'Wonju Open Studio & Store' serves as a neighborhood broadcasting station concept, functioning as a local community platform, a space for producing local content, and a place for experiencing and consulting on high-quality services.
Various resident participation programs such as education and performances are prepared, and with various broadcasting equipment and studios available, children can create broadcasts together with announcers and PDs.
LG HelloVision installed ultra-high-definition LED digital signage at the front to enable diverse productions during content creation. It plans to produce news, talk programs, live commerce, and also use the studio as a special report studio during disasters.
Spaces where customers can experience various LG HelloVision products are also provided, including the HelloTV Zone to enjoy HelloTV, the HelloMobile Zone for telecommunications service consultations, and the HelloRental Zone for rental product trials. It also serves as a customer center handling after-service (AS) requests.
Song Gu-young, CEO of LG HelloVision, said, "As a broadcasting operator that knows our region best, the newly opened open studio in Wonju will discover the charm of the area and become a new landmark that revitalizes Wonju’s local economy," adding, "We will spare no support."
