[Wando=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Kyung-pil] The award ceremony for the 20th National Hanwoo Competition was held on the 17th at the main auditorium of the Nonghyup Central Association headquarters.

This competition was held to enhance the competitiveness of Hanwoo through female cattle improvement for producing high-quality Hanwoo meat, and Mr. Park Ji-hoon of Victory Farm in Gogeum-myeon, Wando-gun, won the highest honor, the 'Grand Champion'.

In addition, Jeollanam-do won the overall championship in the local government category, and Gangjin Wando Livestock Cooperative received the gold prize in the regional livestock cooperative category.
