Samsung C&T BEAKER Opens Third Flagship Store in Seongsu-dong

[Asia Economy Reporter Eunmo Koo] BEAKER, the edit shop of Samsung C&T Fashion Division, is opening its third flagship store in Seongsu, following Hannam and Cheongdam, to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the brand.


Samsung C&T BEAKER announced on the 17th that it will open its third flagship store in Seongsu-dong, Seoul, on the 18th.


The approximately 100-pyeong (about 330 square meters) flagship store was created as a space reflecting our past, present, and future scattered throughout Seongsu-dong through the infinite potential of the youth leading the changes in Seongsu-dong, according to the company. Especially under the concept of "Shining Youth," the space features a pillar of light running through the center of the store representing sparkling youth scattered inside, and a custom wall embedded with minerals seemingly fallen from that pillar of light. It also expresses this theme through glazed tiles, PVC, and objects made using 3D printing techniques. BEAKER used mostly recyclable and reusable materials based on its philosophy of sustainability.


The first floor of the store includes a pop-up space and lifestyle product categories such as trendy brands and accessories for MZ generation customers. The second floor is composed of representative product categories showcasing the essence of BEAKER’s curation, including domestic and international buying brands and original products. The third floor operates brands favored by the MZ generation (Millennials + Generation Z), such as Maison Kitsun?, Danton, and Sporty & Rich.


To commemorate the opening of the Seongsu flagship store, BEAKER plans to hold a first-come, first-served sale and raffle of New Balance exclusive products on the 19th and 26th.
