AllWork, a Job Portal for Middle-Aged and Older Adults, Launches New PC and Mobile Services
Minimizing Job Seeker-Company Mismatches with 'Career AI'... Providing Customized Information Anytime, Anywhere
[Asia Economy Reporter Nam Seung-ryul] "We have given the two wings of artificial intelligence (AI) and social networking services (SNS) to reemployment for seniors aged 40 and over."
Allwork, a specialized employment portal for middle-aged and older adults (CEO Kim Bong-gap), announced on the 16th that it has launched new PC and mobile services. The core of this site upgrade is 'precision' and 'convenience.' The first key point is reducing mismatches between job seekers and hiring companies through 'Career AI,' developed by a team of developers from Seoul National University's Department of Computer Engineering. When middle-aged job seekers who want to be reemployed upload their profiles, AI analyzes and provides jobs optimized for their desired salary, working conditions, and workplace.
The second is the enhancement of SNS functions that notify users of customized employment information via text messages regardless of time and place. Allwork individual members who receive hiring intentions can coordinate offline interview dates with companies in real time and even confirm immediate hiring decisions through non-face-to-face video interviews. Companies can also view job seekers' information without any payment restrictions. CEO Kim Bong-gap said, "The data accumulated over more than six years of operating the employment portal related to middle-aged employment and recruitment is the foundation of the company," adding, "This is the most distinguishing point from existing employment portals, which mainly focus on people in their 20s and 30s and short-term jobs."
Allwork was selected for the AI voucher support project by the National IT Industry Promotion Agency (NIPA) in September 2020 and introduced the country's first 'AI Job Matching System' for seniors in March 2021. In September of the same year, it was selected for the stepping stone project by the Small and Medium Business Technology Information Promotion Agency and launched advanced AI and SNS services for middle-aged reemployment.
Allwork provides more than 3,000 customized job listings daily. Especially, most of the jobs are in the small and medium manufacturing sector, which is experiencing severe labor shortages. CEO Kim emphasized, "The notion that manufacturing is difficult is just a prejudice, as factory automation has greatly improved working conditions," adding, "If we break this prejudice, middle-aged people can also achieve stable reemployment."
