[Asia Economy Reporter Choi Seoyoon] Hyosung TNC's domestic eco-friendly fiber flagship brand, ‘regen’, has entered the golf wear market.

On the 14th, Hyosung TNC announced that polyester ‘regen’, made by recycling PET bottles, and recycled nylon ‘Mipan regen’ have been applied to the golf wear of ‘GOSPHERES’.

GOSPHERES is a high-end golf wear brand that considers the environment and sustainability. Since the brand launch in March, it has applied Hyosung TNC’s regen to meet the needs of consumers who want to show an eco-friendly lifestyle in golf, a sport played in nature.

With this collaboration with GOSPHERES, it is expected to create a full-fledged eco-friendly trend in the rapidly growing golf fashion market, especially among the MZ generation.

This fall and winter season, regen has been applied to GOSPHERES’ down jackets and jackets. It is expected to be popular among golfers who want to make stylish swings on the field even in chilly weather.

These products can be directly seen at the GOSPHERES flagship store recently opened in Apgujeong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul. The store will also exhibit sculptures that easily explain the manufacturing process of regen.

Hyosung and GOSPHERES collaborated this year on various clothing items such as jackets, down jackets, T-shirts, and hats, and plan to expand the collaboration next year to increase regen-applied items such as pants and dresses.

Kim Chi-hyung, CEO of Hyosung TNC, said, “With regen’s entry into golf fashion, we will lead the eco-friendly trend in the sports industry and strive to introduce eco-friendly products in various sports fields.”
