[Asia Economy Reporter Yuri Kim] Galleria Department Store announced on the 13th that it will hold the '2022 Italy Food Week' event from the 14th to the 20th in collaboration with Italy's representative institutions such as embassies, cultural centers, trade corporations, tourism offices, and chambers of commerce.

This event is part of the annual 'World Italy Food Week' held worldwide to introduce Italian cuisine and promote the excellence of Italian food culture. To commemorate this, Galleria plans to showcase a variety of Italian wines and premium ingredients carefully selected by themselves.

At 'Gourmet 494 Hannam,' a premium lifestyle platform operated by Galleria, a pop-up event introducing Italian food and ingredients will be presented.

Notably, the Italian representative pasta brand 'De Cecco' will be featured, offering various pasta types such as Capellini, Linguine, and Fettuccine. Additionally, the pop-up will include the 150-year-old traditional balsamic brand 'Acetaia Malpighi,' the Modena region balsamic brand 'Don Giovanni,' and the authentic Italian handmade cookie brand 'Antonio Mattei.'

Alongside the food pop-up, VINO 494 will introduce carefully selected representative Italian wines. In particular, highly acclaimed premium Italian wines such as ▲Sassicaia '19 ▲Tignanello '19 ▲Fuligni Brunello di Montalcino '17 will be available at limited special prices on a first-come, first-served basis.

To celebrate this pop-up, Galleria will provide an app coupon offering a 3,000 KRW discount for purchases of Italian products over 30,000 KRW, and for purchases over 50,000 KRW, a limited quantity of Italy Food Week special eco-bags or wine bags will be given as gifts.

In addition to Gourmet 494 Hannam, Galleria's branch wine stores 'Vino 494' will offer about 50 types of representative Italian wines at discounts of up to 30%.
