[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Heeyoon] Professor Kim Yongseon of the Department of Art and Design at Samyook University is holding his 26th solo exhibition.
Geumboseong Art Center in Pyeongchang-dong, Jongno-gu, Seoul announced on the 10th that Professor Kim's solo exhibition "Book & Star" will be held from the 11th to the 20th.
Since his 21st solo exhibition in 2017, Professor Kim has been working on a series under the theme "Books are People." This year, he expanded the theme by introducing "stars." The exhibition will showcase about 40 large-scale works, including pieces sized 1000, 500, and 100.
Professor Kim earned his Ph.D. in Fine Arts from Hongik University Graduate School. He has held 26 solo exhibitions domestically and internationally in Japan, China, Hong Kong, and Seoul, and has actively participated in over 400 invited and group exhibitions. He has also served as a judge for various competitions such as the Korea Fine Arts Exhibition and Gyeonggi Fine Arts Exhibition, as well as an art review committee member for Seoul City.
