'100℃ Communication' Project for Employee Harmony
Winner of Best Award in HR Communication Division
[Asia Economy Reporter Myunghwan Lee] Hanyang Securities announced on the 9th that it won the Grand Prize for the first time among securities companies at the '2022 Korea PR Awards' hosted by the Korea PR Association.
Hanyang Securities explained that it received the Grand Prize in the HR Communication category for its '100℃ Communication' project. The HR Communication category awards internal PR cases that creatively utilize online and offline methods targeting the organization's internal members.
Hanyang Securities has shown rapid growth over the past four years, with operating profits increasing more than 20 times and the number of employees growing by over 150%. To maintain organizational cohesion, it established the BM Department, responsible for communications, three years ago. Subsequently, it conducted communication activities that could unite existing employees and new hires. The concept targeted the 'boiling point' of employees, hence the project was named '100℃ Communication.'
In addition, Hanyang Securities operates communication platforms such as ▲D.I.Y. Sub-character ▲Companion Letters ▲Knowledge Sharing Platform ▲Message Management ▲Elevator Intro. In fact, in a recent anonymous internal survey asking, "Do you feel proud to work at Hanyang Securities?" over 70% of employees answered "Yes" or "Strongly Yes," Hanyang Securities added.
Jaetaek Lim, CEO of Hanyang Securities, expressed his award acceptance remarks, saying, "I am extremely pleased to be the first securities company to win the Grand Prize in the HR Communication category at the Korea PR Awards, the most prestigious in the domestic PR field," and added, "Today’s shining moment exists thanks to the communication elements that have firmly established the roots of the tree called Hanyang Securities."
Professor Hochang Shin of Sogang University’s Department of Knowledge Convergence Media, who chaired the judging panel for the 2022 Korea PR Awards, stated, "No matter how outstanding the personnel are, growth is difficult if the organization is not healthy," and explained the reason for selection: "Hanyang Securities’ 100℃ Communication impressively reflected the management’s efforts, camaraderie, and harmony process to create a healthy organization behind the company’s high growth."
Meanwhile, the Korea PR Awards, hosted by the Korea PR Association, select and award companies that have conducted excellent PR activities annually to enhance the value of PR and expand the industry. An operating committee composed of experts from various fields conducts rigorous evaluations across multiple categories to finalize the winners. The awards began in 1993 with the first ceremony and marked their 30th anniversary this year.
