KT Holds 1st KT Bridge Lab Awards Ceremony
[Asia Economy Reporter Cha Min-young] KT announced on the 3rd that it held a final pitching day to conclude a six-month acceleration program with nine startups selected as the first cohort of ‘KT Bridge Lab’ at DreamPlus Gangnam on the 2nd.
KT Bridge Lab is a startup support program where startups propose commercialization ideas, and KT along with professional accelerators review them together to create business collaboration and investment opportunities.
KT recruited the first cohort in April and conducted matching between startups and KT business departments, mentoring, and PoC (Proof of Concept) in collaboration with Incheon Creative Economy Innovation Center, The Invention Lab, and ACNDC.
The grand prize at the first cohort awards ceremony was given to Chainlogis, which conducted a PoC for operating urban logistics centers (MFC) and quick commerce with KT. Chainlogis operates ‘Dubal Hero,’ a 4-hour same-day delivery logistics service for quick commerce.
The excellence award went to ▲XL8 (AI-based real-time translation service through XL8 Interpret), which integrated a real-time translation solution into KT Meta Lounge, and the merit award was given to ▲Pyeonghaeng Gonggan (3D space tour solution), which conducted a PoC for 3D space tours of KT leased assets.
The encouragement awards were given to six companies: ▲MayAI (PoC for BI service at KT Hongdae Ad Shop Plus store), ▲SellerNote (PoC for import logistics inland delivery among KT, Roll Lab, and SellerNote), ▲Wayne Hills Bryant AI (content PoC applying Millie’s Library and TTV technology), ▲OneLoop (PoC for QR-based access/reservation with KT Estate), ▲JHC (PoC for cargo video tracking system linked with GigaEyes), and ▲WCampus (discovery of joint promotion opportunities between KT’s ‘Boss Benefits Zone’ and ‘Kyungri Nara’ channels).
KT plans to expand cooperation such as joint commercialization in the future based on the successful PoC results between these startups and KT business departments.
