[Special Stock] Namoo Technology Highlights Tech Collaboration with World-Leading Defense Company Lockheed Martin and Red Hat on Military AI Development... Increased Attention

[Asia Economy Reporter Jang Hyowon] Namu Technology is showing strength following news that Red Hat is developing military mission artificial intelligence (AI) with Lockheed Martin. Namu Technology has previously collaborated with Red Hat to launch a cloud platform.

As of 10:18 AM on the 31st, Namu Technology is trading at 1,765 KRW, up 4.13% from the previous trading day.

Red Hat, a U.S.-based open-source solutions company, announced on the 28th that it is developing "military mission artificial intelligence (AI)" together with U.S. defense contractor Lockheed Martin.

Lockheed Martin will apply and standardize AI technology through the newly launched "Red Hat Device Edge," supporting U.S. national security missions even in geographically constrained environments.

Red Hat Device Edge supports the deployment of the enterprise-grade "MicroShift." MicroShift is a lightweight Kubernetes orchestration solution based on an edge-optimized operating system built on Red Hat Enterprise Linux and the edge capabilities of Red Hat OpenShift.

Through Red Hat Device Edge, Red Hat and Lockheed Martin are applying cutting-edge software to traditionally large and complex systems such as the U.S. military platform "Stalker Unmanned Aerial System."

Meanwhile, Namu Technology, a leading domestic PaaS market player, recently partnered with Red Hat to introduce "Cocktail Cloud on OpenShift (CCO)."

This is a solution that integrates Namu Technology's Cocktail Cloud and Red Hat OpenShift into one.

Additionally, Namu Technology's AI division is known to be a Microsoft partner, performing tasks such as developing data products using Azure Machine Learning services and data services, building data platforms and pipelines, and providing training and technical support.
