Watch Movies and Learn at the Same Time! ... Air Busan Launches Educational Donation Program for Local Aspiring Aviation Professionals The emergency slide training is in progress.

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Du-yeol] Air Busan has introduced an educational donation program that simultaneously offers opportunities to watch aviation-related movies and participate in job training.

On the 28th at 1 PM, Air Busan held ‘Movie Trip’ at the Air Busan headquarters auditorium, supporting students aspiring to work in the aviation industry by providing movie viewing, job training, and career counseling.

Participating students watched the movie Sully: Miracle on the Hudson, which depicts an emergency aircraft landing situation, free of charge, and then had time to ask questions about the movie or consult about careers in aviation.

Afterwards, using the training facilities inside the Air Busan headquarters, they received hands-on job training including ▲introduction and explanation of equipment installed on aircraft ▲guidance on escape methods during emergencies ▲demonstration and practice of aircraft door operation.

An Air Busan official said, “We conducted ‘Movie Trip’ to help students learn about aviation through movies and provide realistic job training using our training facilities. We will continue to develop and implement distinctive educational programs utilizing Air Busan’s excellent personnel and facilities to actively support students in reaching their dreams.”

As a regional airline, Air Busan is committed to developing and implementing quality educational programs to prevent local talent from moving to the metropolitan area and to help them contribute to regional development as outstanding aviation professionals.

Specifically, Air Busan conducts the annual ‘Dream Campus’ program to enhance local students’ employment competitiveness and provide opportunities for skill and career development.

They also run the ‘Kkumdamgi Dream Classroom’ every year, offering practical and vivid job training opportunities for local high school students to guide them in proper career planning.
