Gokseong-gun Operates Integrity Communication Week to Improve Integrity Level

Creating Opportunities for Communication and Enhancing Mutual Understanding Among Public Officials

[Gokseong=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Cha Jongseon] Jeonnam Gokseong-gun (Governor Lee Sangcheol) announced that it is operating an Integrity Communication Week from October 24 to 28 to enhance internal integrity.

The Integrity Communication Week is one of the integrity policies that Gokseong-gun has been promoting since last year. It was established with the purpose of providing opportunities for communication to increase mutual understanding among public officials.

During this Integrity Communication Week, Gokseong-gun will conduct a survey targeting all employees.

The aim is to provide employees with an opportunity to self-assess their own integrity and corruption risk and to improve upon it.

Additionally, it is expected that awareness of corruption and interest in integrity will increase, allowing an integrity culture to naturally take root within the organization.

The survey will focus on diagnosing the risks of corruption occurrence and abuse of power.

Moreover, Gokseong-gun will distribute integrity mirrors to new public officials.

The mirrors are engraved with the phrase “Integrity You! The Face of Gokseong.”

It is expected that by looking into the mirror regularly, employees will project the meaning of integrity onto their own image and internalize an integrity mindset.

A Gokseong-gun official emphasized, “The spread of an integrity culture within the organization requires the interest and communication of all public officials.” He added, “We will continue to operate various integrity programs to carry out administration trusted by the residents.”

Meanwhile, Gokseong-gun operates various integrity policies such as a self-learning system for integrity and kindness, customized integrity education, Integrity Golden Bell, and morning integrity broadcasts. Through these efforts, the entire organization strives to enhance integrity awareness and improve overall satisfaction with administration.
