[Asia Economy Reporter Jang Hyowon] Paratech, a specialized fire safety product company, announced on the 25th that it has successfully completed the expansion of its Seosan factory and the relocation of its headquarters, holding a completion ceremony.
The Paratech completion ceremony was attended by about 100 dignitaries, including Kim Ilsu, President of the Korea Fire Industry Technology Institute (KFI), Park Jongwon, Chairman of the Korea Fire Industry Association, Lee Wanseop, Mayor of Seosan, Kim Maengho, Chairman of the Seosan City Council, as well as the Seosan Fire Station Chief and the Chairman of the Seosan Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
At the ceremony, Jeong Gwangwon, CEO of Paratech, stated, “We have integrated the manufacturing plants that were divided between Bucheon and Seosan into one to maximize synergy and will actively invest in partnerships and collaborations to secure technological competitiveness. To this end, we will strengthen communication channels and secure talented personnel through performance-oriented personnel management to strive for the new future of Paratech starting in Seosan.”
Paratech relocated not only its production facilities but also the manufacturing, quality, and research personnel of its main products such as sprinklers, valves, and expansion joints. The company explained that this has enabled the Seosan factory to implement more specialized and higher-quality standards, laying the foundation to leap forward as a global fire safety specialist company.
Paratech successfully completed the new factory construction by minimizing production downtime and promptly resuming production through phased relocation of equipment and personnel from July 25 to September 1. During this process, Paratech invested approximately 10 billion KRW in the new construction and headquarters relocation.
Having completed preparations for a new start in Seosan, Paratech plans to secure manufacturing competitiveness by expanding automated production lines and establishing a smart factory in earnest.
A Paratech official said, “Through this headquarters relocation and factory expansion, we will maximize quality and productivity to focus on market expansion through customer satisfaction. Along with this, we will strengthen technological competitiveness to become a global top-tier fire safety specialist company.”
