[Asia Economy Reporter Hwang Sumi] Former national figure skating athlete Kim Yuna (32) and crossover group Forestella member Go Woo-rim (27) will hold their wedding ceremony on the 22nd.

According to Go Woo-rim's agency Beat Interactive, the wedding ceremony will be held privately on the 22nd at an undisclosed location in Seoul with close relatives and acquaintances.

The wedding invitation of the two, released by JTBC Enter News Team on the day before the wedding, the 21st, contains the message, "We would be grateful if you could accompany and bless us on this first path to go together longer and farther."

Earlier, Kim Yuna and Go Woo-rim announced their relationship and marriage news simultaneously in July. The two, who formed a connection through the congratulatory stage at the 2018 All That Skate ice show, have borne the fruit of love after about three years of dating.

At that time, Go Woo-rim expressed his feelings in a handwritten letter posted on Forestella's official fan cafe, saying, "After much thought and consideration, I have made a very meaningful and big decision in my life," and added, "Although I am preparing for a new beginning with this big decision, I will always quietly keep my place as Forestella's bass Go Woo-rim and do my best as before."

Kim Yuna is a figure skater representing Korea. She is the first Korean to win a gold medal in figure skating by recording the highest score ever in the women's singles event at the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics. After winning a silver medal at the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympics, Kim Yuna retired and has since been active in various fields, including serving as a promotional ambassador for the 2018 Pyeongchang Winter Olympics.

Go Woo-rim is a vocalist who graduated from Seoul National University’s Department of Vocal Music and is currently enrolled in the master's program in vocal music at Seoul National University Graduate School. He is a member of Forestella, the group that won the JTBC crossover male quartet audition program 'Phantom Singer 2' aired in 2017, and is responsible for the team's deep bass part.
