Jeongeup-si to Hold Cultural City Forum at Cheongchun Hwalryeokso on the 25th

[Jeongeup=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Jaegil] Jeongeup City, Jeonbuk Province, announced on the 21st that it will hold the "Complete Conquest of Jeongeup Culture" forum at 6 p.m. on the 25th at the Jeongeup Youth Vitality Center to understand the new government's "Cultural City 2.0" policy and explore the development of local culture and arts.

This forum was prepared to build consensus among local residents about cultural cities and to newly explore the direction of cultural and artistic policies.

In the first part, as the first order, expert presentations will include Moon Yungeol, Director of the Wanju-gun Cultural City Center, introducing the "Cultural City 2.0" cultural policy direction led by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism under the theme of "New Government's Cultural Policy."

Following this, Jeon Gopil, Director of the Regional Culture Promotion Foundation, will present on the theme of "Cultural Projects Utilizing Jeongeup Local Culture," discussing the discovery and utilization plans of cultural and artistic resources that reflect Jeongeup's characteristics.

In the second part, a performance sharing meeting will be held with six organizations participating in Jeongeup City's Cultural Sharing City Project, including Jeongeup Cultural Center, Nanumaegi Association, Dulrae Association, and the Jeongeup branch of the Korea Federation of Arts and Culture Organizations.

After each organization's case presentation at the sharing meeting, a comprehensive discussion and Q&A session will follow to provide opinions on the direction of cultural city policies.

A city official said, "Through this forum, we hope it will be an opportunity to solve local problems and create new value based on the culture, arts, and tourism resources of the region, while also newly exploring the direction of Jeongeup City's cultural and artistic policies."
