James Shekerdemian
[Asia Economy Reporter Donghyun Choi] Digital asset management startup VegaX announced on the 19th that it has recruited Executive Director James Shekerdemian to attract institutional investors and activate its B2B (business-to-business) business.
James Shekerdemian has been active in the traditional financial market for over 30 years. He served as the head of JP Morgan's Prime Brokerage business in the UK and most recently led business strategy development as the head of Prime Service for the Asia-Pacific region at Soci?t? G?n?rale, a major French financial group.
Executive Director Shekerdemian is expected to play a pivotal role in expanding VegaX's B2B business capabilities. He plans to focus particularly on maximizing institutional investor attraction in North America and the Asia-Pacific region and seeking cooperation with key institutions.
Executive Director Shekerdemian said, "I am very pleased to join VegaX, a pioneer in the virtual asset market that has led the way in building technology and infrastructure to support traditional financial institutions for many years," adding, "I will contribute to bringing a new wind to the financial market through the synergy of my expertise in traditional financial markets and VegaX's technological capabilities."
