Gwangju Education Superintendent Lee Jeong-seon Positive Rating 41.5% Nationwide 15th

On the 7th, Realmeter, a public opinion polling specialist, conducted a survey from September 23 to 28 on the job performance approval ratings of superintendents from 17 cities and provinces nationwide. Kim Dae-jung, Superintendent of Education for Jeonnam, recorded a support rate of 56.7%, securing first place.
In this evaluation, Superintendent Kim Dae-jung's approval rating ("doing well" positive evaluation) rose by 1.5 percentage points from last month's survey to 56.7%.
No Ok-hee, Superintendent of Education for Ulsan, ranked second with 56.0%, down 2.2 percentage points from the August survey, while Kim Kwang-soo, Superintendent of Education for Jeju, who ranked first in last month's survey, recorded a positive evaluation of 55.1%, down 4.6 percentage points, placing third.
Lee Jeong-seon, Superintendent of Education for Gwangju, received a positive evaluation of 41.6%, down 1.1 percentage points, dropping two ranks to 15th place.
By superintendent, Kim Dae-jung of Jeonnam (56.7%) ranked first, No Ok-hee of Ulsan (56.0%) second, Kim Kwang-soo of Jeju (55.1%) third, and Lim Jong-sik of Gyeongbuk (51.9%) fourth. Yoon Geon-young of Chungbuk (48.3%) and Kang Eun-hee of Daegu (48.3%) tied for fifth place.
Shin Kyung-ho of Gangwon (47.0%) ranked seventh, Seol Dong-ho of Daejeon (43.7%) eighth, Cho Hee-yeon of Seoul (43.3%) ninth, and Choi Gyo-jin of Sejong (43.1%) tenth.
Park Jong-hoon of Gyeongnam (42.9%) ranked eleventh, Ha Yoon-soo of Busan (42.7%) twelfth, Seo Geo-seok of Jeonbuk (42.1%) thirteenth, Kim Ji-chul of Chungnam (41.6%) fourteenth, Lee Jeong-seon of Gwangju (41.5%) fifteenth, Do Seong-hoon of Incheon (39.1%) sixteenth, and Lim Tae-hee of Gyeonggi (34.0%) seventeenth.
This survey was conducted via random telephone calls using an automated response system from September 23 to 28, targeting 8,500 people aged 18 and over nationwide (500 per city/province).
The sampling error by metropolitan area is ±3.1 percentage points at a 95% confidence level, and the response rate was 5.5%.
