The 'Busan Regional Startup Incubation Center Resident Companies Joint Networking Day' was held to expand the network among resident companies of startup incubation centers in the Busan area and to share startup information.
This event, jointly hosted by startup incubation centers of five universities in the Busan area including Pukyong National University, was attended by about 40 people including representatives of 26 resident companies, mentors, and university officials.
The event started with a startup special lecture and proceeded with mentoring sessions in five fields: ▲ IT and app development ▲ investment consultation and IR ▲ business model and marketing ▲ management consulting and fundraising ▲ technology consulting and R&D.
Successful entrepreneurs participated as mentors, such as Kang Jong-su, CEO of Colz Dynamics, who gave the startup special lecture and mentoring in management consulting and fundraising, and Park Hyung-bae, CEO of Vintogether, who provided mentoring in IT and app development.
There are 62 companies residing in the Pukyong National University Startup Incubation Center.
The center operates the 'DRAG-ON program' supported by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups and Busan City to strengthen resident companies and discover star companies, providing startup education, customized consulting, and commercialization funds.
