[Tomorrow's Weather] Chilly Autumn Weather... Heavy Rain in Gangwon Yeongdong and Gyeongbuk East Coast On the 29th, after the solar term Cheoseo passed and rain urging the arrival of autumn fell, citizens hurried on their way to work on the streets of Gwanghwamun, Seoul. On this day, the Korea Meteorological Administration forecasted that the whole country would be cloudy with light rain and cool autumn weather would continue. Photo by Kim Hyun-min kimhyun81@

[Asia Economy Reporter Seomideum] On Friday the 7th, the sky will be mostly cloudy nationwide, with heavy rain expected in the Yeongdong region of Gangwon and the eastern coast of Gyeongbuk.

Expected precipitation is 30?80mm (over 120mm in some areas). There will be strong rain accompanied by gusty winds, thunder, and lightning, with hourly rainfall around 30mm in some places.

In the Seoul metropolitan area, light rain under 0.1mm will fall at dawn; in the Chungcheong and inland Gyeongbuk regions, during the day; and in the Gangwon Yeongseo region, in the afternoon.

There is also a possibility of the first snow falling on the high mountains of Gangwon at dawn.

Morning low temperatures will range from 9 to 16 degrees Celsius, and daytime highs will be between 15 and 23 degrees Celsius, slightly lower than average.

Fine dust levels will be 'good' across all regions due to favorable atmospheric dispersion.

Strong winds are expected along the west coast and Jeju Island, and thunder and lightning may occur over the East Sea, so caution is advised to prevent safety accidents.

Sea waves will be 1.0?5.0m in the East Sea nearshore, 0.5?2.5m in the West Sea nearshore, and 0.5?3.0m in the South Sea nearshore.

Wave heights in the offshore waters (about 200km from the coastline) are predicted to be 1.0?5.5m in the East Sea and 1.0?4.0m in the West and South Seas.
