Imsil-gun SNS Plays a Key Role as Ambassador for Cheese Festival Promotion

According to the county on the 6th, the 2022 ImsilN Cheese Festival, held for the first time in three years, will take place for four days from the 7th to the 10th at the Imsil Cheese Theme Park area.

On the opening day, the 7th, Imsil-gun Office will conduct a live broadcast of ‘Eomni Gati Ga’ on its YouTube channel ImsilN TV.

‘Eomni Gati Ga’ features local resident Lee Yang-im, also known as ‘Narugang,’ and comedian Ok Simi, who will roam around the festival grounds introducing the cheese festival with delightful storytelling and fun.

Especially during this festival period, the Imsil-gun Office PR team will directly operate an on-site event called ‘Find Today’s Photo Zone.’

The ‘Find Today’s Photo Zone’ event installs photo zones at major tourist spots such as Cheese Castle, Wind Hill, and the Clock Tower area, encouraging tourists to participate.

The photo zones to be installed on the day will be announced in advance on Imsil-gun Office’s Facebook and Instagram.

If visitors take photos at the photo zones and subscribe to ImsilN TV, they will be given string cheese worth 10,000 KRW immediately on-site, limited to 100 people per day for three days, totaling 300 people on a first-come, first-served basis.

‘Eomni Gati Ga,’ the main content of ImsilN TV, has been very popular, with videos such as ‘Visiting Imsil 5-day Market with Mom’ uploaded since March recording over 120,000 views and generally attracting 30,000 to 50,000 views.

The county will also operate a promotional booth within the festival grounds to inform visitors about the Hometown Love Donation System, which will be implemented from January next year.

The promotional booth will display agricultural and specialty products from Imsil-gun as return gifts, and leaflets and banners will be provided to actively promote the system.

The Hometown Love Donation System allows individuals to donate up to 5 million KRW annually to local governments other than their registered residence and receive tax deductions along with 30% of the donation amount as return gifts.

County Governor Shim Min said, “Imsil-gun’s SNS widely promotes the county’s good image both domestically and internationally and plays a major role as a promotional ambassador for representative festivals and tourist attractions such as the ImsilN Cheese Festival and Okjeongho.” He added, “We ask for the interest and cooperation of many people to participate in SNS so that the ImsilN Cheese Festival can be successful.”
