[Asia Economy Reporter Oh Su-yeon] The Presidential Commission on the Digital Platform Government announced on the 5th that Chairman Ko Jin met with Ohood Khalfan Al Roumi, Minister of Development and Future of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), to discuss cooperation measures between the two countries related to the digital platform government.
This meeting was arranged at the request of the UAE side to understand the progress of the Republic of Korea's digital platform government, coinciding with the visit of the UAE Minister of Development and Future to Korea. Chairman Ko Jin introduced the policy direction of the digital platform government and exchanged opinions on cooperation measures.
Dubai, UAE, has been making efforts to realize a digital government, known for implementing the world's first paperless government in December last year.
Through this meeting, Chairman Ko Jin and Minister Ohood Khalfan Al Roumi confirmed the possibility of cooperation between the two countries in the field of digital platform government and agreed to promote cooperation.
