[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Jeong Hyeong-seok] The nonprofit organization Sangsaengnamu, in collaboration with the Jeollanam-do Tourism Foundation, has launched the ‘Jeonnam Tourism Startup Skill-up Digital Competency Enhancement Training’ course and will begin the training from the 5th.
The nonprofit organization Sangsaengnamu plans to operate a customized digital competency enhancement training for Jeonnam tourism startups and Tourism Dure local business operators at the Sangsaengnamu training center in Muan-gun until the 17th. This is to prepare response measures to changes in consumers’ travel product and service purchasing methods triggered by digital transformation and the spread of mobile device usage due to COVID-19 and the 4th Industrial Revolution.
The ‘Jeonnam Tourism Startup Skill-up Digital Competency Enhancement Training’ consists of three sessions: ▲ Setting up a Smart Store ▲ Promotion through Instagram ▲ Special lecture on SNS marketing, and the training is completely free of charge.
This training is operated as part of the digital competency enhancement education project to increase the digital transformation acceptance of small business owners in the tourism sector, who are relatively more affected by digital transformation, and to enhance the survival capabilities of the tourism industry ecosystem.
Meanwhile, the digital competency enhancement education project is hosted by the Ministry of Science and ICT, NIA Korea Intelligent Information Society Agency, and Jeollanam-do, and the training is conducted by Sangsaengnamu and TMD Co., Ltd. The project offers free customized digital competency enhancement training for the entire population, including small business owners.
