NHN Commerce and AfreecaTV Join Forces to Strengthen Live Commerce Competitiveness

[Asia Economy Reporter Yuri Choi] NHN Commerce announced on the 5th that it has signed a business agreement with AfreecaTV to strengthen competitiveness in live commerce.

Based on this business agreement, the two companies will support marketing services for NHN Commerce's clients and plan to develop strategies for client sales growth using live commerce in the future. To this end, they agreed to pursue ▲digital transformation technology support for e-commerce customers of both companies ▲promotion of new business and customer acquisition strategies based on joint marketing ▲support of value-added services for e-commerce operators.

Recently, AfreecaTV’s representative media commerce platform, ‘ShopAfreeca,’ underwent a site renewal through NHN Commerce’s shopping mall solution for medium to large brands, ‘Shopby Premium.’ With this renewal, more than 100,000 customers using NHN Commerce’s solution can easily open stores on ShopAfreeca through a simple registration process. The two companies plan to support the expansion of sales channels for NHN Commerce’s clients through the ShopAfreeca live commerce feature exposed to AfreecaTV members.
