Mokpo City 'Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission Mobile People's Petition' Consultation Advance Reservation Open

[Mokpo=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Jeong Hyeong-seok] Mokpo City in Jeollanam-do announced on the 30th that it will operate the ‘Mobile Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Center’ on the 19th of next month at the Mokpo Venture and Cultural Industry Support Center’s main conference room (2nd floor) in collaboration with the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission.

The ‘Mobile Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Center’ is a service where professional counselors visit residents who have grievances or inconveniences but find it difficult to visit the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission in person or are not familiar with using the internet, to provide on-site consultation for their concerns.

The Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission plans to send about 20 personnel, including investigators, to Mokpo to provide consultations on administration, civil law, social welfare, labor, finance, and consumer damage relief. To offer more in-depth consultations and resolve civil complaints, the service will operate by ‘consultation reservation system,’ where professional investigators will review the main points of complaints in advance before the consultation.

Grievances that can be resolved on-site will be guided through consultation, and complaints received as grievances will be investigated and resolved.

Citizens wishing to receive consultation can make a reservation by visiting the Mokpo City Audit Office or the local administrative welfare center, or by mail, until October 7th. Citizens who have not made a reservation can register on-site on October 19th.
