[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Jin-hyung] In August, a heartwarming customer story was posted on the National Petition Board, attracting attention.

The protagonist of the story is Choi Young-mi, a veteran with 27 years of experience this year, who is in charge of financial services at the Goheung Post Office in Jeollanam-do.

The author of the story said, "I recently visited my aunt who lives alone in Goheung, and she wanted to express her gratitude to Choi Young-mi at the Goheung Post Office, so I decided to write this post."

They continued, "My aunt, who frequently uses the post office, was unusually slurring her speech and unable to properly drink her beverage. Choi Young-mi said, "I pay extra attention whenever elderly customers who live alone visit the post office." She added, "I hope the elderly lady recovers her health soon and we can see her bright smile again as before."

Song Gwan-ho, Director of the Jeonnam Regional Post Office, said, "Through careful attention and proactive response to customers, a precious life in danger was saved." He added, "We will continue to care for local residents and practice good deeds to become a trusted post office."
