Shinsegae International Launches Second Half Membership Week... "10x Points Accumulation Benefits"

[Asia Economy Reporter Song Seung-yoon] Shinsegae International announced on the 29th that it will hold a special benefit event called ‘Membership Week’ for membership members from the 30th of this month to the 10th of next month.

Membership Week is a major event held once each in the first and second half of the year, where members can enjoy 10 times the points accumulation when purchasing at department store outlets and specialty stores nationwide of domestic and international fashion and cosmetic brands operated by Shinsegae International.

Normally, membership members accumulate 0.5% of the payment amount as points, but during Membership Week, 5%, which is 10 times the usual amount, is accumulated. In particular, new members who join during the event period will receive an additional 10% immediate discount benefit. All benefits can be enjoyed immediately upon membership registration, with some brands excluded.

Additional benefits are also provided for customers purchasing at Shinsegae Department Store. By downloading coupons from FIT, Shinsegae’s own marketing channel within the Shinsegae Department Store app, and purchasing products from related brands with a Shinsegae affiliated card, customers can receive Shinsegae gift certificates up to 7% of the payment amount depending on the payment amount range.

Accumulated membership points can be used to purchase products at Shinsegae International’s nationwide offline stores and the online mall S.I.VILLAGE.

A Shinsegae International official said, "We started the point accumulation event for membership members for the first time last year, and this year the response has been so enthusiastic that customers are inquiring about and waiting for the event schedule," adding, "In addition to Membership Week, we will plan additional services and benefits exclusively for members to secure loyal customers."
