[Asia Economy Reporter Choi Dae-yeol] HL Mando CEO Cho Sung-hyun was promoted to Senior President in the group personnel reshuffle announced on the 28th. Senior President Cho also leads the automotive sector, the group's core business area.

HL Mando Vice President Kim Kwang-heon was promoted to President of the holding company HL Holdings, Vice President Kim Jun-beom to President of HL Holdings' business division, and HL Mando Vice President Park Do-soon to President of Mando Brose. Former HL Holdings President Hong Seok-hwa concurrently serves as Head of the Construction Sector and President of HLD&I Halla.

This is the first group executive personnel reshuffle since the company changed its name on the 9th of this month. The company will celebrate its 60th anniversary on the 1st of next month. HL Group Chairman Chung Mong-won said, "The 60-year history of the group is a valuable asset of HL," adding, "Together with the new corporate brand, we will boldly and steadfastly move forward as a strong, systematic, and professional young organization."

Chairman Chung announced 'growth' as the keyword for the organizational restructuring. The future task was identified as entering the third sector, i.e., new businesses. As part of this, the Future Business Office and HR Innovation Office were newly established. The company emphasized that Chairman Chung will directly lead these efforts. Vice President Kim Hyung-seok of HL was appointed head of the Future Business Office, and HL Holdings President Lee Seok-min was appointed head of the HR Innovation Office. President Lee also concurrently serves as Director of the HL Talent Development Institute. HL Mando Vice President Oh Se-jun was promoted to head of HL Mando Suspension BU, and HL Mando Vice President Lee Ki-gwan was promoted to head of the Brake BU.
