On the 28th, Lotte Entertainment announced that the official OST of Life is Beautiful (directed by Choi Gukhee), which was released on the same day, will be released at 12 PM.
Life is Beautiful is South Korea's first jukebox musical film, where Jinbong, the husband, reluctantly travels across the country with his wife Seyeon, who made an absurd request to find her first love as a birthday present, singing about life with lively rhythms and melodies.
The OST consists of popular songs that dominated from the 1970s to the 2000s, including Shin Joonghyun’s “Miin,” Lim Byungsoo’s “Ice Cream Love,” Yoo Yeol’s “Goodbye,” Lee Moonse’s “Unknown Life,” “Solo Praise,” Lee Seungchul’s “Sleepless Night,” “Don’t Say Goodbye,” Choi Hoseop’s “When Time Passes,” and Echo Bridge & Choi Baekho’s “If You Go to Busan.”
The era-defining classic songs, reinterpreted by music director Kim Junseok?known for the films Sunny, Swing Kids and dramas Secret Forest, Signal, Misaeng?and the composer group Movie Closer, are performed directly by the cast including Ryu Seungryong, Yum Jungah, Park Sewan, Ong Seongwu, Ha Hyunsang, Kim Dain, Park Younggyu, and Ko Changseok, adding deeper meaning. A total of 22 tracks are included.
