NH Investment & Securities, Recruiting Students for '100-Year Life University'

[Asia Economy Reporter Hwang Yoon-joo] NH Investment & Securities announced on the 27th that it is recruiting students for the 19th term of the "Happy Second Half of Life, 100-Year Life University," a program for its valued customers, until October 7.

The 100-Year Life University is a program jointly developed by NH Investment & Securities and Seoul National University, the leading research institution in the field of senior and retirement planning in Korea. It offers various programs to help prepare for a healthy and happy second half of life after retirement.

This semester, the program features a special opening lecture titled "Trend Korea 2023" by Professor Kim Nan-do of Seoul National University, who leads trend analysis in Korea. Additionally, Professor Cho Young-nam from Seoul National University's Graduate School of International Studies will provide insights to broaden knowledge and understanding of the national development strategy of the Xi Jinping government in China, which has close ties with Korea. There will also be a lecture on the present and future of rapidly advancing bionics and artificial intelligence by Professor Emeritus Kim Sung-joon from the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Seoul National University.

Other popular lectures include topics on well-dying, dementia prevention, senior good life, and the passage of time and the mind. In response to the Fourth Industrial Revolution era, Professor Choi Jae-boong from Sungkyunkwan University will give a lecture on the digital transformation to help understand future industries. Lastly, the closing lecture by Professor Cho Young-tae from Seoul National University's Graduate School of Public Health will provide creative and proactive insights by utilizing demography as a tool for future planning.

The 19th term of the Life University will be held at Choi Byung-oh Hall, Seoul National University, and classes can also be attended online via live streaming. The program starts on October 17 and concludes with a graduation ceremony on December 5, running every Monday evening from 7:00 PM to 9:30 PM for a total of eight weeks.
