KAMCO Transfers National Asset Management Know-How to Jordan Ministry of Finance

[Asia Economy Reporter Eunju Lee] From the 27th to the 30th, Kamco will conduct a training session titled "Effective Management and Disposal of State-Owned Assets Using Onbid and the State Property Management System" at Kamco Yangjae Tower (Gangnam-gu, Seoul) for employees of the Jordan Ministry of Finance's Department of Land Statistics (DLS) and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD).

This training is a follow-up to Kamco's "Online Training for Jordan Ministry of Finance Officials" held in August last year. It was initiated upon request from the Jordan Ministry of Finance to transfer know-how on managing state-owned assets using Kamco's public auction disposal system, Onbid, and the State Property Management System.

Through the training, Kamco will share △ overall policies and systems related to state-owned assets and specific management and disposal methods △ drone-based field surveys and introduction and hands-on experience with the State Property Management System △ structure and operation methods of the Onbid public auction system. Additionally, they will discuss auction system modules applicable to Jordan, expected benefits, and based on this, plan follow-up projects such as system consulting and export. Furthermore, to derive innovation tasks for asset management in Jordan, Kamco will compare and analyze the systems and information systems of both countries with the training participants and conduct policy discussions to enhance the effectiveness of the training.

Won Hojun, Head of Kamco's Corporate Support Division, stated, "Kamco develops and operates property management systems based on core technologies of the 4th Industrial Revolution such as AI, robots, and drones," and added, "We hope this training will assist in establishing and operating Jordan's national asset management policies."
