20s Male Arrested for Nakedly Trespassing Over Rooftop into Female Goshiwon

[Asia Economy Reporter Oh Gyumin] A man in his 20s suspected of breaking into a women-only goshiwon while naked was arrested by the police.

Seodaemun Police Station in Seoul announced on the 27th that they arrested Mr. A on the 23rd on charges of trespassing.

Mr. A is suspected of climbing from the rooftop of a building next to the women-only goshiwon to the rooftop of the goshiwon building near Sinchon in Seodaemun-gu, Seoul, around 9:50 p.m. on the same day, and breaking into the room of victim Ms. B on the 5th floor through a window while naked.

Police who responded to Ms. B's report searched the area for over an hour and found Mr. A in the shared restroom of a nearby goshiwon where he resided, leading to his arrest.

A police official explained, "He did not molest anyone or engage in obscene acts."
