Yes24 'Book Club' Visitor Count Increases by 53.4% After Renewal

[Asia Economy Reporter Seomideum] The number of subscribers to Yes24's e-book subscription platform 'Book Club' has significantly increased since its renewal last month.

According to Yes24, a comparative analysis of usage rates for one month before and after the renewal showed that the number of visitors to the Book Club platform rose by 53.4% after the revamp. Page views, a measure of page click usage, increased by 25.8% following the renewal. In the second quarter of this year, the cumulative number of Book Club subscribers exceeded 500,000, more than double compared to the same period last year.

The renewal focused on enhancing book utilization. A new service called 'Hot #Keyword Recommendations Recommended by Book Club' was launched, which frequently reflects timeliness, social interest, and issues to suggest search keywords. Additionally, 'Popular Now!' was added, revealing the ranking of most-read books based on age groups and gender.

The changes positively impacted reading volume. Comparing one-month periods before and after the renewal, the frequency of selecting and adding books to 'My Book Club,' i.e., the personal library, increased by 43.6%, and the number of times added books were downloaded rose by 20.9%.

Lee Jin-gu, head of Yes24's Book Club Business Team, stated, "This Book Club renewal focused on enhancing members' reading convenience and diversity based on user feedback. We will continue to improve steadily so that readers can enjoy a more pleasant reading experience through Book Club, where they can experience a variety of book content at reasonable prices."

Launched by Yes24 in 2018, the monthly subscription book platform Book Club currently offers over 12,000 contents.
