Samsung C&T 'Studio Nicholson' Opens First Solo Store in Korea

[Asia Economy Reporter Eunmo Koo] BEAKER, the fashion division of Samsung C&T Corporation, announced on the 27th that it has opened the first standalone store of its global brand STUDIO NICHOLSON on the 3rd floor of Hyundai Department Store Apgujeong branch.


STUDIO NICHOLSON is a brand targeting customers in their 20s to 40s who pursue fashionable, luxurious, and elegant styles, offering new and sophisticated clothing and accessories. Through its standalone store, STUDIO NICHOLSON presents a men's and women's "collection line" that deeply reflects the brand's sensibility based on seasonal themes and trends, as well as an "entry line" featuring logo play at reasonable prices.


The brand realizes sustainability by introducing season-exclusive lines optimized for the domestic market with materials and colors, and by releasing various items made from environmentally conscious recycled fabrics. Additionally, based on the global store concept, the store emphasizes a harmonious blend of modern sensibility and the elegance of contrasting materials. The sturdy and durable store surfaces are stylishly matched with delicate woven textures.


Founded in 2010 by creative director Nick Wakeman, STUDIO NICHOLSON offers casual yet sophisticated contemporary items. Inspired by Japanese architecture, interior design, music, 1990s grunge culture, and nature, the brand presents elegant and functional collections.


For this fall and winter season, STUDIO NICHOLSON's women's collection emphasizes a subtle and refined feel through feminine volume and silhouettes. Using soft fabrics to showcase elegance, it also expresses active energy with waistbands and leg cuffs inspired by utility wear. The men's collection expresses modernity through a modular collection that spans age groups, giving a neutral feel with wool flannel materials while radiating free energy with sporty jackets.
