‘2022 Youth Book Year’ 3rd Forum Held in Jeonju on the 30th... ‘Digital Book World Opened by the 2030 Generation’


[Asia Economy Reporter Seomideum] The 3rd forum event of the '2022 Year of Youth Books' will be held in Jeonju.


The forum, themed "The Digital Book World Opened by the 2030 Generation," will take place on the 30th at the Jeonju Hyanggyo Culture Center in the Hanok Village of Jeonju, Jeollabuk-do.


Professor Lee Sun-young of Korea University's Department of Korean Language Education will chair the session, with four publishers presenting. Jeong Dong-yoon, CEO of Rolling Dice, will present "Digital Publishing and Reading Creating the Future of Books," web novel writer Lee Yung-hee will analyze "The Web Novel Ecosystem: Current Status and Challenges." Following them, Lee Eun-ho, Vice President of the Korea Electronic Publishing Association, will discuss "How Far Have Domestic and International E-book and Audiobook Services Come," and Do Young-min, team leader at Millie's Library, will present on "Digital Services Inviting Non-Readers to Books."


The event will also be live-streamed on YouTube. Viewers can watch by entering "2022 Year of Youth Books" in the YouTube search bar without prior registration.
