The committee members held a meeting at the National Assembly on the same day and stated, "MBC broadcasted news with false subtitles during a private conversation between President Yoon Seok-yeol and his close aides while traveling after a meeting with President Joe Biden."

They pointed out, "Maliciously inserted parentheses that awkwardly labeled (United States) out of context, and especially maliciously subtitled President Yoon's remark about 'losing' the budget as 'Biden.' This is a serious manipulated broadcast that will remain a dark chapter in the history of South Korean media."

They also raised suspicions of collusion of words. The committee members said, "The embargo on the video was at 9:39, but Park Hong-geun, the floor leader of the Democratic Party, specifically mentioned the video and criticized it as 'vulgar language' at 9:33, earlier than the embargo time. This is evidence of the 'collusion of words' where MBC and the Democratic Party are united in manipulating public opinion."

The committee members announced measures including ▲MBC's apology broadcast ▲President Park Seong-je's resignation ▲defamation lawsuit ▲correction report and claim for damages ▲filing a complaint with the Korea Communications Standards Commission ▲strict action request for embargo breach, warning, "This is not a matter that MBC can simply gloss over with an explanation or correction. The People Power Party will focus all its capabilities to strictly hold them accountable for the false report."
