Strict Quality Evaluation Every 6 Months... Certified Companies Also Expelled if Quality Standards Are Not Met

[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Jong-hwa] KCC is implementing a certification system for its window distribution dealerships called the e-MAX Club Prime Distributor. This aims to strengthen quality management of dealerships by awarding certification to those with excellent quality.
On the 22nd, KCC held the 2022 new certification awarding ceremony for e-MAX Club dealerships at the JW Marriott Hotel in Seoul and announced on the 26th the launch of a total of 30 window distribution e-MAX Clubs nationwide.
KCC will operate the existing 72 window installation specialist 'e-MAX Clubs' alongside the newly established 'distribution e-MAX Clubs' specialized in the distribution market. Through this, KCC has built a network to stabilize the excellent quality of its window distribution dealerships, thereby expanding touchpoints to deliver high-quality products to consumers.
To join the window distribution e-MAX Club, dealerships must pass KCC’s strict quality screening process. They must possess standard facilities that meet or exceed KCC’s requirements and use raw materials certified by KCC. Additionally, they must complete training at the window training center regularly conducted by KCC headquarters and pass evaluation criteria including after-sales service (AS). This evaluation process is conducted every six months, and even certified companies can be expelled from the e-MAX Club if they fall short of quality management standards such as commitment to quality, quality assurance, or complaint handling ability during periodic reviews.
Window products vary by purpose and require processing tailored to each function and characteristic. From the perspective of consumers unfamiliar with this, products manufactured by distribution e-MAX Club members are trustworthy as they undergo regular quality management by KCC. e-MAX Club members receive an e-MAX member certification and may attach the 'e-MAX Club Prime Distributor' nameplate.
A KCC official stated, "Stabilizing the quality of windows, an important element in completing home conditions, will meet the increasingly discerning demands of consumers through e-MAX Club certification," adding, "KCC will strengthen win-win cooperation by promoting the activation of the e-MAX Club and enhancing the competitiveness of window distribution companies."
