Focused on Global Partners and Overseas Buyers from September to November
6 Companies Including Bio and Medical Devices
[Asia Economy Reporter Ra Young-cheol] Gangwon Province will hold an online relay launching event in the second half of the year targeting global partners and overseas buyers for medical devices and bio products, which account for a large portion of the province's exports.
According to the province, medical devices are a major export item, accounting for 15% of the province's exports and 23.1% of the national exports. Bio products account for 12% of the province's exports and about 4% of the national exports.
The province plans to focus on launching new and planned products in a timely manner through digital marketing of key strategic items to aggressively target the market.
In particular, the launching event will be held at the Global Studio (3rd floor, Chuncheon High-Tech Tower), which opened in September, to simultaneously promote Digital Gangwon to global experts and buyers in each field.
Yoon In-jae, Director of the Global Investment and Trade Bureau, said, "We will focus on the 'online untact marketing market,' which has grown significantly due to COVID-19, to export strategic products such as bio and medical devices and revitalize Gangwon's exports."
