Maximizing Shared Collaboration Networks... Dongseo University Holds Launch Ceremony for ESG University Alliance with 8 Nationwide LINC 3.0 Project Teams

After signing the "LINC 3.0 ESG-based Industry-Academia Cooperation Activation for ESG University Consortium Agreement," representatives from each university are taking a group commemorative photo.

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Du-yeol] The LINC 3.0 Project Group at Dongseo University held the ESG University Alliance Launch Ceremony at Dongseo University Centum Campus on the 22nd, and conducted a business agreement and regular board meeting.

On the 22nd, the LINC 3.0 Project Group signed a "Business Agreement on the ESG University Alliance for Activating ESG-Based Industry-Academia Cooperation" to establish a mutually close cooperative system for the project.

The universities participating in the agreement include Dongseo University, Dongguk University, Gyeongnam University, Daejeon University, Jeju University, Honam University, Keimyung University, and Hallym University.

Through the agreement, each university agreed to actively cooperate for ▲ mutual cooperation and joint operation regarding ESG-based industry-academia cooperation information sharing and joint research ▲ collaboration for sharing ESG-based university infrastructure, ideas, and creating best practices ▲ participation of companies and students in ESG-related corporate-linked curricula ▲ synergy creation programs through ICC collaboration among universities ▲ establishing and supporting cooperation based on connections among family companies by region.

The ESG University Alliance is a nationwide LINC 3.0 project group council newly launched by the Regional Social Contribution Research Association for ESG-related industry-academia-research cooperation.

Since 2017, the university alliance has continuously carried out regional social contribution activities such as 8 Regional Social Contribution Capstone Design Fairs, 5 Idea Tones, and 25 Research Association Seminars.

The first collaborative program of the ESG University Alliance is the ESG Festival to be held in early November, with various side events such as the ESG Capstone Design Fair, ESG Idea Tone, and ESG Forum planned.

Hwang Ki-hyun, head of the Dongseo University LINC 3.0 Project Group, said, “The Dongseo University LINC 3.0 Project Group is actively promoting shared collaboration activities,” and added, “We will strive to maximize the achievements of the industry-academia-research shared collaboration network activities through the ESG University Alliance.”
