Support for Global Promotion of Busan Expo Video Screening
Lotte Duty Free is holding an event offering concert ticket vouchers to customers who make purchases until the 3rd of next month.
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chun-han] Lotte Duty Free announced on the 23rd that it will participate as an official sponsor of the concert "BTS in BUSAN," held to support the bid for the 2030 Busan World Expo at the Busan Asiad Main Stadium on the 15th of next month.
From the 24th of this month to the 3rd of next month, Lotte Duty Free will hold an event offering concert ticket exchange vouchers to customers who purchase at its downtown stores and online duty-free shop. Among domestic and foreign customers who purchase over 10 dollars at Lotte Duty Free, 400 people will be selected by lottery to receive one concert ticket exchange voucher each. Customers purchasing at downtown stores can apply at the gift desk on the day of purchase, while online customers can enter by commenting on the event page. This giveaway event allows one participation per person, and duplicate participation both online and offline is not permitted. Lotte Duty Free plans to announce the winners and ticket exchange voucher collection methods in early October.
Since 2017, Lotte Duty Free has maintained a relationship with BTS through family concerts, music videos, and other Hallyu content. On the day of the concert on the 15th of next month, a promotional booth will be set up to offer various attractions, including commemorative concert souvenirs such as twillies and purple tees from Tifference, featuring the purple color symbolizing BTS.
A Lotte Duty Free official stated, "We will continue promotional activities to introduce Korea to tourists visiting duty-free shops and to help ensure that the 2030 World Expo is held in Busan."
