Anyone Interested in ESG, Ports, Logistics, and Related Industries Can Participate
Recruiting in Three Areas: Idea Discovery, Business Commercialization Support, and Market Access Support
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Heo Seon-sik] Yeosu Gwangyang Port Authority (President Park Seong-hyun, YGPA) announced on the 13th that four port authorities?Yeosu Gwangyang, Busan, Incheon, and Ulsan?will jointly hold the "4th Four Port Authorities ESG Startup Idea Discovery Hackathon."
The ESG Startup Idea Discovery Hackathon is an event aimed at discovering and nurturing ideas by integrating ESG concepts into related fields such as shipping, ports, and logistics.
Participants gather in teams to generate related business ideas and concretize business models.
Since this event will be held in person, thorough COVID-19 prevention measures and supplies will be prepared for key facilities within the venue.
Anyone with startup ideas related to themes such as ESG, carbon neutrality, regional balanced development, innovative growth, and the 4th industrial revolution can apply.
Applications are open for about one month, from Tuesday, September 13 to Tuesday, October 11.
After document screening, 12 teams (4 teams for idea discovery, 4 teams for business support, and 4 teams for market support) will be selected, and through workshops, education, and mentoring, each team's ideas and business activities (IR) will be concretized.
The concretized ideas will be presented at the hackathon finals held in Ulsan, where four winning teams will be selected and awarded a total prize of 5 million KRW.
Additionally, outstanding startup ideas will receive follow-up support such as testbed support and market support through consultations with the four port authorities.
