After the meeting, the lawmakers also visited small and medium enterprises affected by flooding in the steel industrial complex to assess the situation on-site and confirm the needs for recovery.

Assembly member Han Mookyung said, “I visited Pohang to confirm the damage sites in order to promote concrete recovery measures,” adding, “As the ruling party, we will ensure that the designation of the industrial crisis preemptive response area and the measures proposed and discussed at the meeting are promptly implemented, and we will stand with Pohang until it overcomes the crisis and rises again.”
