[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Seryeong] A fire broke out at a steel pipe manufacturing factory in Gunbuk-myeon, Haman-gun, Gyeongnam, at around 8:34 a.m. on the 13th, causing about 20 people to evacuate.
According to the Gyeongnam Fire Headquarters on the day, more than half of one of the three factory buildings was burned in the fire.
A total of 76 firefighters and 34 firefighting vehicles were deployed to the scene.
At the time of the fire, about 20 employees and workers were inside the factory, but all evacuated, and no casualties have been confirmed so far.
The fire authorities issued a Level 1 response at around 9:08 a.m. and announced that the major fire was extinguished at around 10:24 a.m. on the same day.
Fire and police authorities plan to investigate the exact cause of the fire and the extent of property damage after the fire suppression is completed.
