[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yukbong] Buk-gu, Gwangju City is revitalizing the stagnant job market by resolving the mismatch between job seekers and employers.

Buk-gu announced on the 13th that it will hold the "Finding My Job for Tomorrow! 2022 Buk-gu Job Matching Day" until the 23rd to provide various employment opportunities to local job seekers.

For the past two years, the event was held online only due to COVID-19, but this year it will be held both online and offline to increase accessibility for job seekers.

Accordingly, online matching will be conducted until the 23rd on the "Gwangju Buk-gu Job Matching Day dedicated website" and "Gwangju Job Net," and an offline on-site matching day will be held from 10 a.m. on the 19th at the Jeonnam National University Convention Hall area.

About 100 leading local 4th industrial revolution companies and small and strong enterprises, including major local companies such as Oisolution and Amkor Technology, as well as Optonics and Tronics, will participate in this event.

In particular, during the matching day period, a live job talk show will be held in real time, providing employment information and job experiences from current employees of large companies such as Kia Motors and Samsung Electronics.

Additionally, various employment support programs such as free resume consulting, MBTI analysis, and personal color coaching will be operated.

Director Moon In said, "This job matching day event will be an opportunity to resolve the job mismatch between job seekers and companies, allowing mutual growth and development," and added, "We will continue to actively discover good jobs and strengthen support for companies to promote employment for various groups, including youth."
