The Outstanding Supporting Actress award went to Julia Garner of the Netflix original series 'Ozark.'

The Emmy Awards, established in 1949 and hosted by the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (ATAS), are the highest honors in the American television industry and are also called the "Academy Awards of broadcasting."

Previously, Netflix's 'Squid Game' made headlines as the first non-English language drama to be nominated. Lee Jung-jae is a strong contender for the Outstanding Lead Actor award, with the announcement for that category pending at the ceremony.
