Collision Between Taxi and Passenger Car at Suwon Terminal Intersection... 2 Dead, 1 Injured

[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Myunghwan] A collision between a taxi and a passenger car at the Suwon Bus Terminal intersection in Suwon City, Gyeonggi Province, resulted in 2 deaths and 1 serious injury.

According to the police, around 11:17 PM on the 9th, a taxi turning left from the airport direction toward Suwon Station and a passenger car going straight from Suwon Bus Terminal toward the airport collided head-on. The driver of the passenger car, a man in his 20s identified as A, who was alone in the vehicle, died.

The taxi driver, B, in his 50s, and a rear-seat passenger, C, in his 20s, were seriously injured and transported to the hospital. The injured passenger C died in the hospital on the afternoon of the 10th. It was confirmed that there were no other passengers in the taxi besides C.

The police are investigating the detailed circumstances.
