The Hapcheon-gun Citizens' Award is an award given in the name of the citizens to those who have greatly contributed to enhancing the honor of Hapcheon-gun and the stability and development of the local community. Every year, candidates are recommended in three categories (▲Industry·Economy ▲Education·Culture·Sports ▲Public Interest·Patriotism), and one recipient is selected per category.
During the candidate recommendation period from June 9 to August 20, there were no recommendations in the Education·Culture·Sports category, while one candidate each was recommended in the Industry·Economy and Public Interest·Patriotism categories, and after review, two recipients were decided.
Mayor Kim Yoon-cheol said, “I sincerely congratulate the recipients who have been awarded the Hapcheon-gun Citizens' Award, which has a long tradition, and deeply thank them for their dedication in quietly enhancing the honor of Hapcheon-gun and contributing to the development of the region in each field.”
The Citizens' Award ceremony is scheduled to be held at the Hapcheon-gun Citizens' Day commemorative ceremony on the 26th.
