[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Cheol-young] On the 7th, Seoul Mayor Oh Se-hoon held an appointment ceremony for the 'Mom and Dad Happiness Project' Promotion Advisory Group at the Seoul City Hall conference room to create a 'Child-Friendly City Seoul' and presented appointment certificates.

The newly launched 'Mom and Dad Happiness Project' Promotion Advisory Group consists of 16 experts from various social fields such as childcare, children, women, economy, and architecture. The advisory group's term is one year, holding regular quarterly meetings and occasional extraordinary meetings to provide opinions on the 'Mom and Dad Happiness Project,' supporting major decision-making and detailed execution plan discussions throughout the project.

Mayor Oh presented appointment certificates to the advisory members and requested them to offer suggestions and advice so that Seoul's 'Mom and Dad Happiness Project,' focusing on safe care, convenient outings, health healing, and work-life balance, can realistically reduce the childcare burden on parents while providing thorough support.

Additionally, Mayor Oh attended and gave a congratulatory speech at the '1st Seoul Culture and Arts Forum' held at the Taepyeong Hall in the Seoul City Hall Citizen Hall, a venue for forming discourse on the future value of sustainable culture and arts. The 'Seoul Culture and Arts Forum' was launched by the Seoul Foundation for Arts and Culture last August to expand exchange and cooperation in the cultural and arts sector for the development of Seoul's culture and arts, gathering experts and workers in the field to discuss cultural policies and future change prospects.

This forum was attended by about 120 people, including heads of private art organizations and associations, forum operating committee members, cultural and arts experts, and workers, featuring presentations, lectures, and discussions under the theme 'Post-COVID Cultural and Arts Outlook and Seoul's Cultural Strategy.'
