Like a Generous Hangawi! ... DGB Daegu Bank Conducts 'Songpyeon Sharing' for 950 Local Senior Households

Delivered to Elderly in 8 Districts and Counties of Daegu

DGB Daegu Bank held the '2022 Hangawi Songpyeon Sharing Event' on the 5th at the auditorium of the Daegu branch of the Korean Red Cross in celebration of the upcoming Hangawi.

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yeo Jong-gu] DGB Daegu Bank held the '2022 Hangawi Songpyeon Sharing Event' on the 5th at the auditorium of the Daegu branch of the Korean Red Cross in celebration of the upcoming Hangawi holiday.

About 40 participants, including the DGB Companion Volunteer Group composed of DGB Daegu Bank employees, university student ambassadors, and Red Cross volunteers, attended the event. They made and packaged songpyeon themselves and delivered the prepared songpyeon to 950 elderly households in 8 districts and counties of Daegu.

Lim Seong-hoon, President of DGB Daegu Bank, and Park Myung-soo, Chairman of the Daegu branch of the Korean Red Cross, who directly participated in making songpyeon, delivered the songpyeon to local residents at the Seongnae 2-dong Administrative Welfare Center in Jung-gu, Daegu after the activity, enhancing the festive atmosphere approaching this weekend.
